BrideLux and Confetti Join Ocean Media Group

Ocean Media Group celebrated their newest acquisitions with a glittering launch event at The Wallace Collection

Ocean Media Group, the company that owns The Harrogate Bridal Show, White Gallery, Bridal Buyer and the newly-launched London Bridal Week has recently acquired luxury wedding show portfolio BrideLux and wedding planning website confetti.co.uk.

Ocean Media also run the hugely popular National Wedding Shows and the Wedding Fairs. As part of the new acquisition, The Luxury Wedding Fair has now rebranded to The BrideLux Showcase. A new magazine aimed at brides will also be launching in the new year – Confetti magazine will be published twice a year and will be overseen by the editor of Bridal Buyer magazine, Anna-Marie DeSouza.

To celebrate BrideLux and Confetti joining the Ocean Media Group portfolio, there was a glittering launch event at The Wallace Collection in Manchester Square, London, attended by key figures in the bridal and wedding industries.

Guests included Alan and Marguerite Hannah from Alan Hannah, Chenca Williams from Ritva Westenius, and representatives from illustrious brands such as De Beers, Amie Bone Flowers, Moet Hennessy and the Four Seasons London.

Guests enjoyed elaborate gin cocktails with a variety of flavours – including rhubarb and toffee nut – and the prosecco flowed freely (drinks were by DoubleDutch and Warner Edwards).

There was also an elaborate selection of canapes from Bubble Food, including an immersive fish and chip stand with headsets playing the sounds of the sea, and duck pate presented on a floral peacock.

Beautiful fresh flowers from Wildabout Flowers, covered every surface, and once the band had finished playing, there were speeches from the newly-appointed CEO of Ocean Media, Matt Miller, and by James Lord of BrideLux.

Once the speeches were over a trio of ballerinas took to the stage to entertain guests, complete with illuminated tulle skirts.

At the end of the night, everyone was treated to a goodie bag containing a delectable treat from Laduree.
