I love my mornings! I usually whirl around like The Tasmanian Devil before wearing myself out by lunchtime. I wake up between 5am or 6am, depending if my cat has decided if we are having a lie in or not.
The first thing I do is feed the cat or DIE! Then I feed myself which typically consists of chunky nut cereal with intermittent peanut butter on toast...Yum.
I usually work at home, so this means I start around 30 minutes after I wake up. My typical morning consists of answering my emails and social media messages. Then I’ll catch up on writing blogs, feature, newsletters, workshops, YouTube and future planning.

I always stop for lunch at 1 o’clock. I try to avoid more bread so I will only have something light. Sometimes I’ll meet up with a friend or colleague, purely to make sure I catch up with the outside world.
I don’t leave work as such, but I usually finish my working day just before 9 o’clock in the evening. Then I will sit down in front of the TV to watch one of the many crime series. I normally go to bed at around 11 o’clock on a weekday. I can switch off if I want to, but often I have ideas just ticking away in the background. I tend to collect these so I can formulate one big plan, complete a design or succinctly put an idea or project together the next day.
I can always remember my dreams in great detail. So much so I think people think I make them up because the story I tell is longer than the time I have been asleep.

The favourite part of my day is writing my ‘To Do’ list with a cup of tea. I’ll usually write a very long list of what I am going to achieve, and I’ll tick everything off as the day progresses.
These days prepare for the other times I am running my workshops and training sessions. On those days I am totally absorbed with the client, so it’s a completely different working day. I love having both of these as it keeps the balance perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.
