Private Label By G, founded in 1984, boasts a 30 year pedigree of bridal design and distinction. The company has steadily grown and has developed gorgeous collections that meld modern sass with old-fashioned charm - we ask what we can expect for the new season…
The Kenneth Winston bride is the one that dreams of the elegance and beauty of a wedding, from the anticipated first look and reaction of her groom and response from her guests as she walks down the aisle, to her becoming the final piece that brings the wedding full circle. This bride’s personality shouts sophistication and beauty.
This season our process in developing Kenneth Winston shifted slightly by spending more time selecting the correct lace and materials to adorn our gowns. Lace selection was one of the key factors that helped us decide which design would work best with our initial sketches. Once this process was done, we developed the best beading to further complement the gown rather than overpower it.
We’ve always felt beading should never be too overbearing for it can always add unnecessary volume. Therefore, this time we decided to use a unique combination of clear crystals as well as the traditional “pronged” backings to add depth and sparkle to our designs.
The Ella Rosa bride, on the other hand, is the girl next door. Creating Ella Rosa is sometimes a challenge but also fun in many ways due to the fact we have to develop a style while also keeping the price point relatively low. We’re very big on using high quality materials therefore sometimes the cost can rise quickly.
As an alternative, we focus on main design elements on a gown where we can use the same material, but in less volume, to create a focal point that still adorns the gown perfectly without adding too much cost.
One of the key features we love about this season’s Ella Rosa is the use of softer material for the inner lining, which consist of soft satins, stretch satins and lighter weight fabrics. This element provides the ability to incorporate delicate silhouettes, from the illusion bodices to the flattering fit and flare silhouettes that lie gently on the bride.
The team will be showing the stunning collections in London Olympia from 5-7 March for The London Bridal Show 2017. Make sure you head to stand B9 to see the lines for yourself, and click here for more information and contact details.
