They were covered in the Daily Mail, the Sun and even on ITV News - when they picked up the phone at their Kettering boutique on a typical Saturday morning, the team at Courtyard Bridal Boutique had no idea what was in store.
The family-run business - sisters Rhiannon and Bethan and their mum - agreed to help out at a local wedding that was due to take place in an hour’s time. The bride’s dress hadn’t turned up so they grabbed what they could and set out to help. In doing so, they went viral!
We headed to Kettering to chat with the team to find out more about what happened - and couldn’t resist asking about their previous brush with fame, a BBC documentary five years ago.
