After swooning over their spring runway show, and having seen the dreamy new collection photography, Bridal Buyer is excited to see a return to Bridal Week for Demetrios. The fashion house, which launched 45 years ago, is known globally for its romantic designs over its six labels.

This year, as the brand celebrates this milestone anniversary, the 2026 collections offer an exquisite tribute to the fashion house’s legacy, as well as a bold step forward in innovation, individuality and global expansion. We expect to see clean lines, flattering draping and structured bodices with sculpted waists. Details to look out for include ice cream pastels, oversized bows, Chantilly lace and a scattering of pearls to add a fresh, romantic touch.

2026 Bridalwear: Trends Up Close

Discussing the big trends for Demetrios this season, UK Agent Stephanie Lomas tells us: “This season is all about structure with softness. We’re embracing visible corsetry, wide basque waistlines, clean architectural lines softened by delicate layers of the finest lace and subtle pastel and floral accents. It’s a refined mix of femineity and sophistication, bridal looks that are effortlessly elegant with a fashion-forward twist.”

One design in particular is already catching the attention of buyers. Stephanie reveals that Style 1518 is proving to be a standout: “This gown features a flattering V-shaped basque waist and a bodice with exposed boning and romantic lace detailing, flowing into a full A-line skirt available in sleek Mikado or Satin. Retailing around £1,500, it’s ideal for brides who want intricate detail balanced with a clean, minimal silhouette.”

And it’s not just a single dress that’s generating excitement, as Demetrios is bringing a wealth of choice to the show. Stephanie tells us that they are curating a really special ‘Best of the Best’ capsule, bring approximately 100 standout styles to the show, along with a range of detachable elements such as overskirts and sleeves, plus veils and accessories to complete the look.

The inspiration behind the collection is steeped in both nostalgia and modernity – with a nod to the label’s stunning design archives. "The 2026 collection is inspired by the idea of ’modern heritage.’ We’ve drawn from our rich design legacy while embracing current bridal sensibilities,” says Stephanie. “Luxurious fabrics, sheer layering, structured bodices and soft pastel shades bring depth and emotion to the gowns. It’s a celebration of bridal femininity through the decades – refined, nostalgic and incredibly wearable."

Retail Notes

Of course, for retailers, choosing gowns for their boutiques is just the start. Stephanie explains that Demetrios is committed to ongoing collaboration with stockists well beyond the exhibition hall.

She says: “Our retailer support goes far beyond the show. We offer ongoing marketing support, including access to high-quality imagery, social media assets, and video content to help drive sell-through. Our customer service team is responsive and solutions-focused, and we pride ourselves on reliable delivery timelines – a must in today’s climate. We also offer flexible trunk show opportunities and personalised guidance to help retailers maximise their buy and meet the needs of their brides."
