We talk to the fashion house about the new season hero styles. From detachable details to high-impact silhouettes, the latest collections celebrate versatility and movement
It comes as no surprise that Paloma Blanca and sister label Mikaella have delivered sleek, artfully crafted collections this season. Shown to the UK audience for the first time at Bridal Week, the two labels presented styles that offered a chic mix of sculptural detail and fluid movement.
Speaking with the fashion house’s Mikaella Bernstein, we learn that the SS26 collections were inspired by the idea of bringing depth and dimension to clean design. She explains: “Across both lines, you’ll see refined silhouettes elevated by thoughtful details: sculpted draping, distinctive necklines, exposed corsetry, illusion lace sleeves, and dramatic skirts with pockets. Chiffon, Mikado, and satin play an important role this season, adding contrast in texture and structure that enhances the balance of modern minimalism with subtle romance. The emphasis is on gowns that feel fresh in their construction and relevant to today’s bride.”
The collections also shine in their versatility, something modern brides seeking personalisation adore. This includes elements such as detachable sleeves, overskirts and other thoughtful styling details.
When it comes to trends, brides are still enjoying gowns that balance simplicity with unexpected detail. As Mikaella notes: “Minimalism remains strong, but it’s no longer about stark lines alone. It’s about movement, texture, and subtle intricacy. Brides want gowns that photograph with impact yet feel effortless to wear, and our collections reflect that desire: refined silhouettes with just enough detail to make them unforgettable.”
Paloma Blanca highlights gowns such as Style P5185 and Style P5188. The former features lace illusion sleeves and a keyhole back, while the latter is a fresh pleated halter dress with a detachable bow. “These gowns show how refined silhouettes can still deliver statement details,” Mikaella explains. “They offer brides the sophistication of clean design with just enough artistry to feel unique.”
From Mikaella Bridal, Style M2576 features a strapless draped bodice with an asymmetric waistline, while Style M2587 comes in chiffon, with a scoop neckline and flowing circle skirt. “These designs are approachable yet high-impact, giving retailers confidence that brides will connect with them both in photos and in the fitting room,” says Mikaella.
Bridal Buyer was also drawn to Paloma Blanca Style P5175 – a truly fresh look. The gown features a draped charmeuse satin bodice with detachable sleeves, paired with a stunning fit-and-flare skirt finished with an on-trend lace inset at the slit. The dreamy combination makes it a standout.
From Mikaella Bridal, Style M2589 stood out for its interplay of textures: a crêpe bodice with corset styling, a gentle Basque scoop, and a lace illusion scalloped jewel neckline, with cap sleeves. It is paired perfectly with a separate crêpe fit-and-flare skirt.
