What was the primary inspiration behind the latest bridal collection? How did this inspiration influence your design choices?

The primary inspiration behind the Kissed by the Light collection is the interplay of light and shadows. We wanted to capture the essence of a warm, romantic glow and the ethereal beauty of our brides. This inspiration influenced our design choices by guiding us towards shimmering beading that mimics candlelight, intricate patterns reminiscent of water ripples and dawn’s first light – and floral motifs reflecting the idea of growth towards the light.

What sets your latest collection apart from previous ones? Any specific innovations you’ve introduced this year?

We’ve introduced new techniques in construction, fabric layering and draping to create new innovative silhouettes. We are using new beading techniques that add a mesmerising element to each piece. This collection is set apart with its refined and imaginative approach.

Any new themes or concepts that you believe will resonate with modern brides and retailers?

Modern brides are increasingly drawn to themes that offer a blend of romance and individuality. Today’s brides are seeking a sophisticated yet dreamy aesthetic. The themes we have designed align with the current trends towards personalised and meaningful bridalwear, offering a touch of romance. We can’t wait to see brides in our new necklines, waist shapes and silhouettes.

Can you highlight any standout pieces in your collection?

One standout piece is our Halo gown, featuring the most intricate beading that captures the flickering of candlelight, paired with a voluminous, ball skirt. Another highlight is the Athena dress that’s covered in floral appliqués, her fitted silhouette perfectly pairs with the dramatic details. These pieces not only showcase the collection’s core themes but also offer a captivating blend of opulence and luxury that is sure to appeal to many brides.

What are the latest fabrics, details and embellishments you have used? Why did you chose these particular elements?

We have utilised a range of luxurious fabrics, including silk chiffon, satin and tulle to enhance the softness and fluidity of the designs. The beading used in the collection was meticulously designed to create a shimmering effect. Detailed embellishments, such as delicate floral embroidery, were created with care, and layered fabric elements were chosen to add depth and texture.

Are there any new or unconventional materials you have experimented with this year? If so, what has been the response from brides and retailers?

This year, we experimented with incorporating new embellishments that catch and reflect light in unique ways, enhancing the collection’s theme of illumination. The response from brides and retailers has been positive – they appreciation the innovative materials that add a modern twist to classic bridal aesthetics.

And finally, how do you ensure your designs meet the diverse needs and preferences of brides today?

We prioritise comfort by focusing on soft draping, adjustable features and breathable fabrics to ensure that each design is as comfortable as it is beautiful. To cater to diverse styles and preferences, we offer a range of silhouettes that allow brides to make each piece their own. Our designs are created with a keen eye on current trends, while maintaining a timeless quality, ensuring that every bride can find something that reflects her unique personality and vision.
