The team at Knightsbridge Neckwear shares with us its style predictions for the year ahead…
Knightsbridge Neckwear was founded by Darren Farrell in 2007 and this family-run firm supplies its customers with a wide collection of luxury products. The brand draws inspiration from classic British images from the 1960s, and provides menswear pieces with a unique twist.
“With our expertise we’re able to offer vintage neckwear that has been perfectly cut, stitched, labelled and pressed, and items that are lined to maintain shape for many years,” explains Darren. “Our handmade neckwear is tailored by dedicated craftsmen to provide luxurious handling and both our expert in-house design team and fashion researchers ensure we have a leading edge over our competition.”
The company is making its debut at The Harrogate Bridal Show this September and will be showcasing a range of fabulous designs. So what does the team predict will be popular in the new year?
“We’re seeing that men under the age of 45 are now dressing smarter and in a more formal way,” says Darren “And those setting the fashion stakes alight are all purchasing for their big day, and finding great stylish looks that can be worn again and again.
“All shades of blue and all types of tweed are being chosen in single-breasted slim-fit suit styling. Herringbones and both Prince of Wales and madras overchecks are currently popular, while burgundy and browns will also be strong in the coming seasons.
“This all bodes well for us as current demand on our neckwear includes complementing oranges, coral, champagne, blues and burgundy in floral woven silk ties, bowties and pocket squares, as well as in our woollen, velvet and knitted options.”
